The Grand Alliance Shinobi is created by the Five Great Shinobi Nations over the samurai of the Iron Country consists of five main divisions:
The 1st Division is comprised of mid-range fighters and directed by Darui.
The 2nd Division is comprised of short-distance fighters and directed by Kitsuchi.
The 3rd Division is in charge of Kakashi Hatake, and it has mid-range fighters and short range fighters.
The 4th Division contains only long-range fighters under the command of Gaara. Shikamaru is the right hand of Gaara and deputy commander of the Fourth Division.
The 5th division was created to Special Operations and it has ninja with unique abilities. Mifune is the leader of these special operations.
There are also four special teams trained for war.
The Medical Division and the Support Logistic Division directed by Shizune and it is comprised of medical ninjas.
The Surprise Attack Division led by Kankuro, has the mission to ambush the enemy forces.
The third division is the Sensor Division with Ao as captain.
The Intelligence Division directed by Yamanaka Inoichi is formed with the intention to gather information and transmit it to Gaara for the sake of the tactics. The objective of this war is that Madara does not fulfill his plans, so it has to defend the two jinchurikis because they are the key to victory.
